Welcome. I’m Gracie – Writer. Researcher. Intersectional Strategist.
This is where I share my work – the essays I write, the research I create, and the advocacy that drives me. All of it, in one place
I write. I research. I advocate. My work spans personal essays, policy analysis, campaign strategy, and consulting. All of it lives at the intersection of disability, queerness, and displacement.
Golden Seams was born from the belief that brokenness does not mean the end of beauty. Inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where cracked pottery is repaired with gold, this book gathers the pieces of pain, healing, and resilience that have shaped my life and the lives of many others.
Behind my work is the quiet conviction that our scars can become our strength. Writing is how I hold onto light when everything feels dark. It is where pain turns into purpose, and where joy becomes a seed for others to grow from.
Through Golden Seams, I honor voices that were once silent, create spaces of belonging, and remind us that wholeness is not about being unbroken, but about embracing every part of our story.
